Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society (JSCAS) web site.
JSCAS is an association of amateur astronomers dedicated to the study and enjoyment of astronomy since 29 May 1967.
Membership is open to anyone wishing to learn about astronomy. You do not have to be affiliated with NASA's JSC to be a member. There are no membership dues. Just Show Up. We do not discriminate against persons who have binoculars, telescopes with holes, telescopes with out holes, or no instrument at all.
JSCAS meets on the second Friday of every month at 7:30 PM. There are several exceptions check the web site for current information.
The meetings are held in the auditorium at the Universities Space Research Association (formerly LPI) located at 3600 Bay Area Blvd. (at Middlebrook Drive).
